We’ve been slinging great food and bevs to the excellent folks of Mitchie and surrounds since we opened our doors in mid 2019. 

Our drinks offering is extensive with six rotating beer taps, a beer fridge filled with limited release cans and bottles as well as an exhaustive wine list. The cocktail menu is filled with classics and in house specialties, and our back bar is stocked with excellent spirits. We’ve got a great selection of non-alc options with everything from soft drinks through to mocktails and non-alcoholic beers. 

The menu offers modern pub fare that’s great for sharing or enjoying solo. Our excellent team of chefs update the menu seasonally but we make sure we keep all the favourites as well (we know, we know, the pork belly bites must never be removed). We do our best to cater to dietary requirements; with delicious gluten friendly and plant based options. 

Sit back and enjoy the atmosphere in our cosy indoors or bask in the breeze and fresh air of our laneway outside.

  • We’re located at 37 Blackwood Street in the wonderful suburb of Mitchelton.

  • Absolutely! Simply click here or navigate to the top of the page and click the button up there.

  • There is ample parking available on Blackwood Street. We also have a few assigned car parks to the rear of the building that you’re more than welcome use.

  • Not only are there buses that stop immediately outside the venue but we are a short 300m walk to the Mitchelton Train Station.

  • We are! The bar is located on a single level and we’ve ensured there is ample space around chairs and tables to aid folks with access needs. There is also an ambulant toilet on site. If you or any of your fellow guests have any other access enquiries about noise or light levels please reach out to our friendly staff here so that we can assist you further.

  • We’re very happy to take bookings for large groups. While we don’t do function packages we are happy to facilitate an event where you can order canapes and share food off our delicious menu and set up a bar tap for your group. Click here to send an enquiry about these kinds of bookings.

  • Of course you can! If you’re celebrating a birthday and you’d like to bring along your own cake you can give it to staff on arrival and we will refrigerate for you. It is our preference that you provide your own candles and if you’re sharing cake with a group of eight or more people please bring your own paper plates.

  • Only if we can pat it! We have a lovely outdoor seating area that is dog friendly so we’d love for you to bring your canine friend along. We do ask that you are considerate of other guests and keep your dog on a leash at all times. It is also the owner’s responsibility to clean up any mess their pet makes and to ensure they act in a well behaved manner while at the venue.
